Welcome to Sun & Fable! My name is Jenna, and I established Sun & Fable in March of 2025. In the beginning of 2025, I was diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome and unfortunately had to leave my career in the healthcare field. I had a lot of free time while I was at home recovering and learning what “new normal” meant for me. I turned to my favorite hobbies to help pass time and keep myself occupied, reading and sewing!

After noticing all of the damage my books had obtained through rough transports to and from work over the years, I decided to look for a solution. I combined my love for sewing with my love for reading, and designed my own patterns for book sleeves and kindle sleeves. I had many friends and family ask for sleeves of their own, and I decided to establish Sun & Fable to test the waters with vending at craft shows!

I started off at a few small local shows, and ended up meeting some wonderful people at a storefront called the Nerd-D Collective at the Shoppes at Dragon Village. They asked me if I wanted to join their collective, and I gladly accepted! Since then I have been working to expand the variety of products offered, and spent countless hours fine-tuning patterns to make sure that each product perfectly balances functionality and aesthetics.

My goal is to have products available at locally owned book stores all over South Jersey! I hope that the products at Sun & Fable bring a little joy to customer’s day-to-day lives and give people an opportunity to express themselves in a simple way.
